Berber carpets were traditionally made for the Home use tied. The predominantly female weavers played free and spontaneous – without templates to form and Colors and followed theirs personal ideas and yours individual intuitions. The traditional pattern of Moroccan Berber carpets typically consists of: geometric, partially colorful, abstract shapes and lines on monochrome backgrounds. Our Beni Berber rugs are inspired by these traditional patterns.

This hand-knotted Berber rug has a dense, relatively high pile. This makes it very comfortable and durable. Traditionally, Berber rugs, like Lori or Gabbeh rugs, were used for sleeping. They invite you to sit and lounge around in the living room, but are also ideal for passageways and in the dining area. The warp and weft yarns of this Berber carpet consist of s Cotton, the pile is dyed with natural dyes and hand-spun. The hand-spun wool gives the lorises their soft surface.
